I have never really thought about travel to Lebanon. It is a shame about the trash on the beach and that no one cares. The photos are wonderful. You have a great eye for the beauty around you and the not so. Thank you for sharing.

I find it interesting, your image of a beach of garbage contrasted with the other images of such a beautiful country. Is there a story to the beach of garbage? Kathy
Yes – there is a big dump on the coast up a little ways from Saida and it is all eroded and now the waves crash up against it and wash all of the waste out to the Mediterranean – as far as Cypress and up and down the coast of Lebanon. I went to go look at the mountain of trash…it was so sad! At least this is what the locals explained to me.

As far as i know, private sector is far more developed than government, that is why you find such gabs, beside that our nature is stunning, but corruption is scaring as well.
Its the responsibility of all Lebanese.
