The route is typically referred to as the Camino de Ronda or the Cami de Ronda – but it’s made up of multiple coastal paths running from Blanes to Portbou on the Catalan coast of Spain. I hiked a large portion of it from Lloret de Mar to Portbou (100 of the 135 miles) in the Spring of 2016. My 80 year old father joined me for the hike making it even more special!
This Blog Series will cover a combination of paths from the Camino de Ronda, the GR 92 and its local variants – all of which make up the Costa Brava Coastal Path system. All are fairly well marked and lightly traveled which makes for a great hike with the most stunning views of the Costa Brava region and plenty of hidden coves and beaches to take a dip.
