Delhi, India
While volunteering in India, I often walked around the slum neighborhoods to see the family culture. Family homes don’t have bathrooms, and baths are taken outside in front of the house with buckets. It didn’t seem to phase the kids, as this was a great way to cool down on a hot Delhi afternoon! True to form, the kids were always smiling when I put my camera up to my eye; even a bath didn’t stop them from smiling!

WHAT an incredible photo. love his eyes!
Lovely photo – great way to cool off – I wouldn’t mind having an outdoor bath if it was super-hot, perhaps not in view of the whole neighbourhood though.
Lovely shot! I’m in Thailand at the moment and can totally relate. I’ll take a bucket-full of cool water anywhere and everywhere.
What contentment…
Lovely Eyes and a cool boy.. of Delhi.. love this really.
That was really good pic and I appreciate that little boy cos’… though the bathing water rolled down his eyes his smile shined brighter and brighter
