Week In-stagram Review

July 19, 2013 6 Comments »

Each week brings some new scenery and location for me – that’s just the way I like it. If you want to follow where I am real time – then each Friday I will post 5 of my Instagram photos from the current week.

Some weeks I may be traveling somewhere exotic, and some weeks it may be less interesting – but it will give you a peek into my life of perpetual motion. This week I spent my time still traveling in Vietnam  with my niece Evie.  We spent most of our week in Saigon and the Mekong Delta and then flying back to the US on 4 flights and 36 hrs of travel.  I had a great time revisiting my old home in Saigon – lots of memories to revisit.  Evie and I spent a lot of time on the back of motorbikes seeing the less seen parts of Saigon, eating street food with locals, and shopping for gifts.

hot vit lon baby duck egg

Thanks to Back of the Bike Tours – I ate my first hot vit lon (half hatched duck egg)! Yes there were feathers involved. And yes Evie joined me. Was quite tasty with lime, salt, pepper and herbs AND if you didn’t overthink it!

Disclosure:  I was a guest of Intrepid Travel during my time in Vietnam.  However all of the thoughts and opinions expressed here are my own.
