Each week brings some new scenery and location for me – that’s just the way I like it. If you want to follow where I am real time – then each Friday I will post 5 (7 this week!) of my Instagram photos from the current week.
Some weeks I may be traveling somewhere exotic, and some weeks it may be less interesting – but it will give you a peek into my life of perpetual motion. This week I spent in the middle of the Pacific Ocean on the adventure island of Maui! I am a guest of the Maui Visitor Bureau this week as part of #seeMaui and getting a taste of the diversity and beauty of Maui. This week I’ve been on the water, under water, on mountains, on farms, and in museums!
Plus – I’m here another week – so much more to come…
The prison museum in Lahaina – where rowdy whalers were held. An interesting history!
I arrived at Kaapanali Ali’i after a long flight from NYC just in time for sunset!
Not only did I learn how to surf – but I learned the Hawaiian word for wave – Nalu. My first surf lesson was a huge success! Thanks @mauisurfergirls you rock!
Going 129 ft to the ocean bottom in my first ever submarine ride. We saw schools of fish, a reef shark, dolphins, and a shipwreck. Great for someone who doesn’t dive like me.
Clouds covering Haleakala in the morning.
Dark chocolate truffle balls rolled in salt made at O’o Farm in Upcountry Maui
Yup thats me – biker chick! We started up in the clouds of Haleakala. That little line of blue you see is the ocean waaayyyyy below!
Disclosure: I was a guest of Maui Visitor Board for this trip. However all of the opinions expressed here are my own.
