Each week brings some new scenery and location for me – that’s just the way I like it. If you want to follow where I am real time – then on Friday I will post some of my Instagram photos from the current week. Some weeks I may be traveling somewhere exotic, and some weeks it may be less interesting – but it will give you a peek into my life of perpetual motion.
This week I escaped the cold winter in the mainland US and landed in Hawaii – my new home for a month. Life if good. I got settled into my teaching position at Iolani School and still found a little time to explore and enjoy Waikiki where I’m staying for 2 weeks. Not only do I get to watch incredible sunsets from my balcony, but I also had a super duper foodie treat this week – truffles from Chef Mavro. Not a bad start to my summer in the winter!

I went there in `92 and stayed in that little pink hotel in your second picture. I hope to get back there someday. This time I would like to sail to the other islands. I hope you are doing well.

Oh goodness – 1992 is a long time ago! Hope you make it back to the islands soon. 🙂 I’m heading out on a sailing day trip when in Kauai next week – looking forward to being on the water!

If you are trying to make me jealous you succeeded. I hope you have a great time on the water. But there is beauty right here at home. We had 10″ of snow yesterday so my world is a winter wonderland 🙂
