Each week brings some new scenery and location for me – that’s just the way I like it. If you want to follow where I am real time – then on Friday I will post some of my Instagram photos from the current week. Some weeks I may be traveling somewhere exotic, and some weeks it may be less interesting – but it will give you a peek into my life of perpetual motion.
This week I went down under to Oz – Queensland Australia! I was really excited to experience something different than curry and Indian traffic and pollution for a while. Adventure travel in Australia seemed like a perfect cure for my bronchitis! This is my 3rd trip to Australia – however I’ve never been to this part of the country and I must say that I’m loving the laid back atmosphere and less touristed areas!
There was no rest for the weary – I started this week with personal surfing lessons, yoga, hiking, and horseback riding along the beach on the aptly named Sunshine Coast in the adorable beach town of Noosa. Fine dining, sunshine and fresh air…perfection! This week was all about trying new things,(surfing, horseback riding) and appreciation. After 6 weeks in India, I had an intense appreciation for…
Hot water that doesn’t run out
Fat car tires that glide over potholes
A/C in a car
Beef!
A hairdryer
Being able to drink tap water
A bed with a thick comfy mattress
Quiet
An engine with power and responsiveness
Good internet
Wine
Enjoy the Instagram pics…I’m here for 3 more weeks…much more to come!

Did super afternoon hike out to Hell’s Gate in Noosa National Park. The trail hugs the coast – beautiful!

Meet my horse Moose! He took me on an amazing beach ride today for 2 hrs. I had so much fun learning to canter and trot. It felt like we were running along the beach at full speed however I have a feeling reality was a bit different speed! Regardless my legs and butt will pay for this tomorrow!

That’s my ice cream being made right in front of my eyes in 4 minutes from Nitogenie. Nitrogen added to the ice cream recipe in the Kitchenaid flash freezes it. Fun to eat and watch!

Love the surf culture @visitsunshinecoast ! Found this beauty parked near the beach. Picture perfect!

Left the beach behind today for this! Rolling green pastures, cows, agriculture, lakes, and mountains of South Queensland!

Even better Nancy – I had one on one guidance and learned a little more about how to ride!

In the middle of the sea and sunset clouds seems amazing.

Great photos. Yes, Noosa is a beautiful place – it seems even half of Australia wants to move there. I will have to check out that ice cream machine next time I’m in Qld (few weeks).
