Roses for your sweetheart
Apparently Valentine’s Day is the same all over the world. Here you can see entreprenurial Vietnamese selling roses roadside while buyers pulled up alongside the curb to purchase. Unlike many other parts of Asia, the Vietnamese are outwardly affectionate towards their loved ones. This same park is normally filled with young couples sitting on benches, holding hands on the weekends.
Another thing that stayed the same on Valentines Day is that I was dateless! That’s ok, I drowned my sorrows in a good martini and hung out with visiting friends. Some things never change!
