As I travel through Mongolia this week, I decided to have a photo flashback! Two years ago I was traveling through Morocco – one of my favorite countries! I recently went back to edit some writing and photography about my time there. Enjoy this flashback of photos and check out one of the most popular stories from that trip!
The Disappearance of the Traveling Pants
Chefchaouen, Morocco (the Blue Town in the Mountains) – this town is magical and it’s bathed in blue! A must see if you travel through Morocco!

as a big fan of the color blue, i approve this post!
I’ve always wanted to travel to Morocco. Just beautiful. And, I really think after seeing these photos, that I need to stop taking photos of people and realize the beauty all around me!
I am a huge fan of travel but I have to say I had never thought of Morocco as one of my destinations but this looks beautiful, “bathed in blue” is the perfect description.
Cheers Erin
Sherry,
Your photographs are absolutely beautiful! I admire your dedication to your travels and photography. My husband and I said sayounara to our corporate America jobs last November and have been traveling ever since! You have really taken keeping a blog for the folks back home to another level. Keep up the good work!
I have been to Morocco, however not this town, wish I went. This is the town where the waterfalls are?
It’s definitely worth a stop next time! I love the blue town in the Rif mountains. Here’s the info I have on location – Chefchaouen is situated in the Rif Mountains, just inland from Tangier and Tetouan – but I’m not really familiar with the waterfalls – sorry!
