A horse plowing my host family's land...a step back in time.

As you know, I’m volunteering in Jordan through GeoVisions Conversation Corps. This is a program in which you converse with/tutor a family in exchange for room and board and a fee. I recently shared my initial volunteering experiences at my Briefcase to Backpack website. You may be interested to find out exactly what Conversation Corps is all about…if so – then check out the latest post about settling in with my host family in Amman.

  1. This must be an amazing experience! Thanks, I’ll check out conversation corps. I’m actually heading to Petra for a few nights in February!
