Photo of the Week – Barcelona Tile

Tile

The colorful tile of Barcelona is hard to miss

As you walk around Barcelona you can’t help but be memorized with the tile work and architecture thanks to Guadi’s many masterpieces sprinkled throughout the city.  The colorful, intricate and sometimes flamboyant tilework is everywhere bringing the city a warm glow.  Here are some of my favorite colorful works of art!

What a great idea for a post. I’ve enjoyed viewing the tiled buildings and art of Barcelona but never thought about posting a photo perspective. Great jog.

Gorgeous shots, Sherry! I was just in Barcelona in May and fell in love with the architecture there. It’s quite possibly the most beautiful city I’ve ever visited. It’s definitely a city with its own unique look.

  6. I love all of that tile work! Your photos really highlight it well =)
